Version 2.2 adds Audio Check, a readiness report for real work. It reviews your current output, input, mute state, volume, stereo balance, sample rate, meter status, clipping risk, active schedules, saved profiles, priority switching, and loudness target. The result is a clear score, action list, ready-signal list, and copyable Markdown report you can keep with recording notes or pre-call checks.

Mixerbar stays App Store-safe and privacy-first. Device switching and volume control use public CoreAudio APIs, microphone access starts only when you run the meter or start a quick recording, and all audio work happens locally on your Mac.
